Seen by

Coaches can see who has watched, without having to ask.

Match and season stats

Stats for each match, quarter by quarter, with conversion rates. Season stats across the squad's matches. And a CSV download.

Clip download

Save a clip in Chrome, Edge or Firefox on a computer or Android phone. Not available in Safari, or on iPhone or iPad.

Uploads that pick up again

MP4s up to 4 GB and 2 hours per match. If an upload stops, carry on with the same file. Filmed on Veo? The guided upload shows you how: download the match from Veo, then upload it here.

Tagging

Tagging that keeps up with the game

Play the video and tag as you go: click the Home or Away row, or go full screen and use the keys.

Full-screen tagging, on the keys

Press a tag's key to tag the Home team, or hold Shift for Away. Space plays or pauses, and ← and → jump 5 seconds. You can change each tag's key, and your keys are saved in your browser.

⇧ Shift + key tags AwaySpace plays or pauses←→ jump 5 seconds

Put the tag bar where it suits

Keep the full-screen tag bar along the bottom, or move it beside the video on the left or right, so the goal at that end stays in view.

  • Straight to storage

Uploads go from your browser straight to private storage, so big files are fine.

  • Trim what isn't hockey

Skip the warm-up, half-time and anything after the final whistle. The video file isn't changed, so you can restore a part at any time.

  • One click, one tag

Click an event on the Home or Away row and it's saved at the player time. Edit its time, type or team, or set it to Not sure.

  • A timeline you can play

Filter by event and team. Click a dot to play its clip, or play all the clips shown.

  • Review and submit

On the shared tagging library, taggers mark passages fully reviewed and submit the match for an admin to accept.

  • One guide for everyone

The tagging guide defines every button: which team gets it, when to tag it and the rules.

AI, in training

AI that does the first pass

Here's what we're aiming for, and how close we are. The AI is in training and isn't available to squads yet. Everything else on Tagged Up works without it.

The plan

  1. 1The AI pre-tags the whole match.
  2. 2A tagger confirms or fixes each tag, instead of starting from scratch.

How we measure it

AI tags that are right
The share of the AI's tags that match an experienced tagger's tag within 10 seconds, with the right team.
Tags the AI finds
The share of the experienced tagger's tags the AI also found.

80%The target, on both measures

Squads can't use it yet. Today, every tag on Tagged Up is added by a person.

Latest test

One full match from halfway, October 2026

The AI's tags, scored against an experienced tagger's, on a match the AI wasn't tuned on.

AI tags that are right: 53% right now, target 80%.

Previous version: 44%

Tags the AI finds: 61% right now, target 80%.

Previous version: 41%

The previous version scored 44% right and 41% found on the same match. On 20 minutes of a second match filmed from halfway, this version scored 61% right and 65% found.

These figures rest on one full match, filmed side-on from halfway. Matches filmed from behind a goal or from a corner scored lower on the previous version, about 38–51% right, and haven't been tested on this one yet.

The white tick on each ring marks the 80% target.

Tag by tag

Done, next, then

The checks use how hockey works to clean up the AI's tags.

  1. Done

    • A set-piece check that reads where the players line up. It finds quarter starts, goals and short corners.
    • A restart check for 16s, long corners and free hits.
    • A newer video model, which lifted possession lost and entries most.
  2. Next

    • Restarts, the weakest tags: free hits, sideline free hits and 16s are all under 50% right.
    • Possession lost: the AI still misses some changes of possession the tagger counts.
  3. Then

    • Score more matches filmed from halfway, so the figures don't rest on one.
    • Compare two taggers on the same 15 minutes, to set a fair target for each tag.

How it works

From match video to shared clips

The coach sets up the squad, uploads, tags and shares. Players take it from there.

  1. Step 1

    Set up the squad

Sign up as a coach with your club and squad. An admin sets it up when they approve you, then you bring in your players.

  2. Step 2

    Upload

Upload the match as an MP4. From Veo, download it first, then upload it here. If an upload stops, carry on with the same file.

  3. Step 3

    Tag

Trim the warm-up and breaks, then tag Home and Away with a click or a key. Every tag gets a clip.

  4. Step 4

    Share

Build playlists and share them with the squad. Players watch, comment, draw on the frame and see the stats.
